The great outdoors

It was Friday noon-ish, me, my dad, my little brother Arran and my two friends Ben and Declan were heading out for a camping trip. We were all packed and raring to go, so we jumped  into the car and the trip began to........... Tentsmuir.

It wasn't far, and it wasn't long so all we did was talk. The chat was about mostly video games but somehow it got onto girls when someone mentioned Rachel two words jaw dropping every time you saw her you drooled a little she was flawless but anyway back to the story. We arrived at Tentsmuir it was a beautiful sight, birds chirping, sea waves as tranquil as the water can be but loudest of all my dad chatting away about his experiences in the wilderness and how he always went out with his friends and whatever so we were searching for a place to set up camp.

We were searching for about ten minutes but finally we found the perfect place to set up camp so we pitched our 6 man tent and began to collect wood for the fire. We found alot since we were in the woodland but the only problem was we had forgotten the fire lighters but we remembered you can light it with dead grass which seemed to work. We were set, a tent, a fire, so we got a couple of logs to sit on and began to roast our marshmallows on sticks we found. I burnt mine but no biggie there was more marshmallows. The dark crept in quick so the stories began. Here was mine.......... "as the night flooded in, the demon spawn came to take over " but that's just my imagination. We were sleepy so we went to bed. I was woken up by the sound of "zzzzzz" as the tent door zipped down and the sun light shone in. It was our time up in tentsmuir so we gathered our stuff together and returned to the car.

We were on the journey home from our great outdoor adventure. It wasn't as much fun heading home than it was leaving it, none the less at least I will have a nice, big, cosy bed tonight. We dropped off my friends at their homes. On the way back I got hungry so we got breakfast and enjoyed the rest of the day together.

THE END..............................
